The units are constructed from a series of single skin, interlocking, 20 s.w.g. panels.
The parts are delivered to site and then fixed on site.
The finish of the panels both internally and externally is galvanised steel.
These spray booths are manufactured in the UK.
The air is motivated by either a Bifurcated, or belt driven, axial fan, so that the fan motor is not located within the extracted air stream and is therefore suitable for paint spraying using solvents.
The size of the fan, motor and ducting will depend on the size of the spray booth and the ducting layout.
The motor is a non-flameproof electric motor.
After filtering, the air is ducted to atmosphere from the host building, via the rear / side wall or roof.
The fan is specially designed for the spray booth application, with protection offered to the drive components and easy maintenance access.
The fan would be mounted on the roof of the spray booth.
A push button type starter with thermal overload relay is included.
A suitable three phase electrical isolator would be required fitted adjacent to the spray booth location.
The filters are arranged across the rear of the spray booth.
There are two stages of filters, arranged as two 1.0m tiers.
The first stage is ‘Andreae’, cardboard, concertina filter, which locates in channels.
The second stage is an EU4 290 gsm media mounted in an ‘easy maintenance’ frame immediately behind the ‘Andreae’ filter.
A sealed LED light fitting is mounted on a reflector above the spray booth canopy.
This illuminates through a sealed 6.4mm laminated glass panel into the canopy area below.
Light colour is 6000K, an approximation of daylight.
An IP66 one gang, two-way switch with neon indicator is included.
A ducting package can be supplied to suit the specific site requirements and is manufactured to DW142 standard.
The duct would be terminated vertically without a cowl fitted, as is required under legislation. If the duct is to exit via the roof of the host building a rain water diversion unit can be supplied.
The cutting and sealing of the duct aperture to the host building wall or roof would not be included unless agreed otherwise.
A cost for installation can be provided once the size of the spray booth, the site location and ducting layout has been established.
