SBSF supply a cost effective compressed air three-stage filter regulator unit, that provides breathing quality air for spray painting and RPE air fed masks.
- Standard units are only suitable for mounting outside the Spray Booth Oven, due to the high temperatures within the Spray Booth Oven (80 Deg.C +)
- Higher temperature units for mounting inside Spray Booth Ovens are available
Advantages:
- More cost effective than higher temperature units
- No contamination from paint overspray when mounted outside the Spray Booth Ovens, providing a longer working life
- No ‘dust traps’ when mounted outside Spray Booth Ovens
Units Comprise:
-
5μ pre-filter and will remove larger particles and 90% of any water
-
0.01μ coalescing filter, traps remaining oil and particles larger than 0.00001mm
-
Activated charcoal filter contains traps remaining oil vapour and odours giving technically clean air
- Pressure regulator (0.5 – 10 bar)
- Three Stage units are recommended for spraying water borne paints
- With visual filter element status gauge to indicate change required
All units are fitted with:

- Semi auto drain
- Two wall mounting brackets and screws
- Filter element flow indicators
Units are factory assembled and pressure tested to 15 Bar and flow, function and leak tested
Options include:
- 1/4", 3/8" or 1/2" BSP, threaded ports
- Acid/alkali resistant bowls, or aluminium bowls available for mounting inside a low bake spray booth oven
Many filter regulator units that provide the same filtration levels are considerably more expensive and consequently the replacement elements are also.
The filter elements should be changed proactively, as part of the on-going Preventative Maintenance of the Spray Booth and as recommended by the manufacturers.
SBSF recommend that the filter elements are changed annually and these are low cost items to facilitate this, which SBSF can provide.
SBSF also carry out Periodic Breathing Air Quality Testing as part of Preventative Maintenance of Spray Booths.
Please refer to our summary of requirements for Breathing Air Testing.
