Spray Booth Compressed Air Breathing Air Quality Testing (BAQT)

Summary of the legislative Requirements:

If paints containing Isocyanates are being sprayed within a spray booth then air fed masks need to be worn by the sprayer.

If air fed masks are being used then the quality of the air suppling the mask needs to be regularly tested.

BAQT tests are required very 3 months (EN12021)

BAQT records need to be kept for 5 years (HSG53, COSHH L5)

The periodic three monthly test will give you full compliance with the legislation.

SBSF can assist with all the above items and provide a cost effective 3 monthly test.

For the test we send a test cylinder to your site, which we ask you to fill and return to us (all instructions and carriage costs are included within the cost)

We then test the air in the cylinder and then provide the certification via email.

This service enables us to provide the test at cost effective rates for full compliance, without the customer incurring the cost of sending an engineer to site

We also recommend the proactive replacement of the compressed air filter regulator elements, as Manufacturer’s Instructions (Typically every 12 months)

We supply a cost effective three stage filter regulator, which is listed on our web shop, where the replacement elements are also cost effective.
